Masterpieces of art, these are the real treasures, Michelangelo was laying on his back for years to paint this...and the biggest problem for him was, to take distance from his paintings, a painter needs to step back from his work so once in a while to get a good 'overvíew', thanks for sharing and I would have bailed you out....
You captured these great and put them in a nice collage.
BTW I have the same problems as you, with the camera...a mind of its own...how come?

Another great composition - the bottom half is almost as if you have re-done the ceiling.

When I was in the Sistine Chapel a few years back, Tracy, my camera had the same mind of its own...in spite of all the guards! In the age of digital cameras, what are they gonna do? Rip the "film" out??

Tracy: Ha let them try LOL. I just don't see the point any more as a flash is also made redudant if you have a good camera Right??

Ambitious...but, I think you pulled it off, Tracy.

Every time I see this image ... centre, bottom ... I think the older, bearded guy is saying to the younger guy, something like:
"I think you will do well in the [bodybuilding] competition, Kid, but you are going to have to put a roll of socks in your underwear or you are going to lose some points".

Tracy: LOL Ray he sure looks a bit small in the manhood department.

Postcarding this one for us just gives us a brief taste of what you must have spent a long time looking at, if not, photographing! Wonderful.

Tracy: I was looking around and taking pictures of this place for approx four hours!! There is just so much to take in I sat in the Chapel for at least half an hour and go a crick in my neck. The Chapel is not as big as I had thought, but full of atmosphere.
