These clouds are very appealing. I try to capture them whenever I see any. Nice shot!
Tracy: Thank you so much Martin
Wispy clouds, Tracy, YES, but I LOVE that tree...and the fence posts. AND that you converted it to B&W.
Tracy: I am so pleased you like this shot Ginnie. Years ago we played football/soccer in this field, now horses graze it
bedankt mijn vriend
Oh my! (speechless, mouth wide open, jaw on the floor)
Tracy: Wow what praise, thank you so much M'roy
Terrific conversion Tracy, the clouds and tree make a nice contrast
Tracy: Thanks so much Aussie
Those whispy clouds are dancing above your scene smiling down on it.
Tracy: Don't you just love them Kathryn, so light. Thank you
yep...clouds are nice, but I shall vote for the fence posts...I love irregular fences, as they convey an element of confusion or chaos to the scene.
Tracy: I would never be able to confuse you Ray!!! Thanks very much
I love the clouds too, Tracy!
The whole picture, in fact!
Tracy: Arrr thank you so much Kay
Wispy clouds...*sigh*...yes indeed (I am sorry it took some seconds, had to look for my dictionary) THIS is a stunner to me, the B&W is superb choice here...love it..the fence has my intention too, but I love fences...and for M'roy he would make a hell of a vacume cleaner...
Tracy: LOL Astrid M'roy's new name is Dyson
Thank you so so much for your praise mijn vriend... From you I will take it with gratitude. You have made my day and made me smile
Agreed: lovely sky
Tracy: Thanks very much Chris
What a beautiful black and white. It makes it impossible to figure out what time of day the photo was taken, which makes it a bit more surreal. Lovely!
Tracy: Early afternoon. Thanks for your comment Jewlya
suits b&w well, love the sunshine on the sides of the posts and the trees
Tracy: Cheers Russ appreciate your comment
Interesting how the dormant landscape is balanced/ complimented by your '' whispy'' and weak clouds. richard
Tracy: It does look dormant Richard. Thanks for your comment
You have done a great landscape here and had the available lines working for you. The curved road and fence posts. The wispy clouds is a topper.
Excellent conversion as well.
Tracy: Well thank you kind sir you are making me blush!!!
The beauty of a winter sky - love the light in this picture.
Ingrid
Tracy: Thanks very much Ingrid
Beautyful composition. Great contrast between the tree and the clouds!
Tracy: Thanks Richard
Peaceful capture
Tracy: Cheers Chantal
This entire composition just works - it is great! I really like that you were able to capture the sky with no jet stream from aircraft! Lovely...
Tracy: To be honest I was surprised there was not jet streams as we are on the flight path for Manchester. Thanks Martie
B&W all the way Tracy - nice shot.
Tracy: Thanks for the positive comment Bernie
Love those tree silhouettes. Nice peaceful shot.
Tracy: Thanks a million for your comment Laura
I like the whole photograph Tracy. Light on the posts is excellent and an interesting composition - a very good study.
;o)
Tracy: Mike thank you so much for your encouraging comment. You made my day
Yes, a great sky!
Tracy: Thanks very much Mary
I love the wrapping around of the fence actually. I love wispy clouds too. Beautiful B&W!
Tracy: Thanks Jen glad you liked it. I would have loved to have watched your dream sunset
This is good. Because you have exposed for the sky (it is lovely) there is a loss of detail in the hedge area and around the bungalow. I expect one of our b&w experts could tell you how to improve that (blackdog springs to mind)
For me as a composition I really like it.
Tracy: Thank you kind sir for your comment as usual...!!
I see what you mean about the darkness around the hedge and the bungalow
so that must be "Willow" then tracy?...
lovely shot. mal
Tracy: Ha Ha Ha very good Mal
Thanks very much
I agree with you, tracy
Tracy: You are about the only man that does Chad LOL
The clouds are lovely, and so's the rest of the picture.
Tracy: Arrr thanks Ellie for your lovely comment
nearly missed this Tracy, on me way to kip and a bloody good one to sign off on, personally i feel one of your best todate Tracy, well done
Tracy: Hope you have a good kip Tim!!!
Pleased you caught my shot before you went.. Thanks for your comment. I have just got in from work.
Nice photo, the tones are nice and the composition is also good.
It would be nice next time if you don't cut the top of the tree...
Nicely done, I love the tree against the sky !
