I know I said yesterday that we would be returning to Rome today, but something fantastic happened on Sunday. My football/soccer team were promoted into the top flight Premiership. It's been 23years since they were in the top division and hopefully they will be able to survive and stay for at least two or three season's fingers crossed.

Man United! Man United! Ha! Ha! Love it...how's Stoke doing these days?
Tracy: We may get Man U for the first game next season!!! We will also be on match of the day on a Saturday night wow wee. Come on Stoke
Hope they do well
Tracy: So do I Vintage, thanks
I see you have other passion outside of photography
Tracy: Football has been in my blood from a very early age Maria, I have played it and watched it.Thanks
Tracy, that's so exciting! Yeah!!! Something we don't really see here that much.
Tracy: I love to do the unusual Jen, thanks
Happy Musketeer here I guess?? I know you are, I remember us talking about sports...we are just the same, SO congratulations with it, I do hope they survive next season.....'we' have a great Dutch goalkeeper, he is my favourite..Edwin van der Sar.......
Love the picture...I would almost forget!!!
Tracy: Astrid I was over the moon, the game was not the best to end the season but we had done enough so that was great
Thanks for you kind comment as usual
Yes it was a great day for Stoke Tracy and Leicester were at the wrong end of that result ... but perversly my football team 'Southampton' were helped by that result ... Funny old game football.
richard
Tracy: It sure is and the bottom of the table was changing all the time. You survived so that was good too
Thanks
Well done Tracy .. you have played well. Good luck for next season .... you get to play me ( come on you spurs !) :o) John
Tracy: You should have a good last game of the season against Liverpool as neither sides have anything to battle for. Liverpool will remain 4th what ever happens and Spurs could finish 10th. Enjoy the game if you get chance to go
Thanks
Happy potters they are, and so should you
Tracy: The strip is Red and white vertical stripes,it's the new badge that brought blue into the equasion, our old badge had the city crest which was red, white and black of which I prefered.
Thanks Louis
Well done! Hope they can survive. My home team (Exeter City) have got to the conference play off final again by dramatically beating Torquay 4-1 in the second leg. Sadly can't go to Wembley to watch them this year as I will be working.
My other team Birmingham City look certain to go down...again!
Tracy: Well done Exeter what a great achievement, pity your not able to get to the new Wembley Bill.
If Fulham lose to Pompey and Reading lose to Derby!!!! you will be ok I think. Lets hope The Blues can win Blackburn. I could go on all night Bill. Thanks
Well - congratulations!!!!!
Tracy: Thank you kindly Martie
Were you one of the crowd invading the pitch at the end of the match?
Great season, hope next year is as good
Tracy: No Russ I wasn't, can you believe 20 seconds to go and they went on the pitch.. I was worried we would be made to pay for the stupidity of the small minority.
We did enough and lets now hope we can build on that Thanks
Well done... hope they don't do a Derby ;-)
Tracy: I hope we get more than 11 points as they stand at the moment. How disapointing for them
Thanks
We Musketeers are so alike, Tracy! Get me started on my favorite football team (U. of Michigan) and you won't hear the end of it.
Tracy: Well Ginnie funny you should say that!!! Ok I won't bore the pants off you but I am just jumping for joy and I am over the Moon
Thanks for your comment musketeer..
Great Tracy. Congratulations to the Potters!
Tracy: Cheers Richard
Well done them
I'm not really a football watcher, but I'm always pleased to hear something good. Are there any potters left in Stoke?
Tracy: Thanks very much Ellie for your comment
The pot banks are dying gradually, we still have Spode, Wedgewood,Moorcroft and Aynsley's to name some of the bigger producers, but even they import ware from abroad. It's a shame as a lot of industries are fading fast
I don't follow football, but I know what the excitement was like our local English club was promoted. Anyway, its a brilliant photo of the badge. Well done.
Tracy: Thanks Sheila I just love it. the adrenaline just takes over
good luck to them! They will need it. mal
Tracy: Thanks Mal they sure will. I just hope they survive the coming season
well done Stoke, dare say the visit will be short and painful to watch
Tracy: As long as they try Tim I don't mind it's when they play c**p and you pay good money to watch, thats what makes me mad
Thanks
Yes the happy people of Stoke...the potteries...and laughing at Port Vale - WHO?
I just hope Bristol City can come up and join them.
Tracy: Sorry did you swear then Chad?? How very dare you!!!LOL
I remember going to watch Stoke at Bristol and having to walk miles to get to a pub that would serve us..We walked through playing fields If my memory serves me right Hope they do it Chad, will you be going to wembely if they do??
Stoke the fires Tracey you will need to when you meet the toffies (Everton)
Tracy: Everton have played well this season and finishing in the top six is a great achievement. You should beat Castle on Saturday.
All the best and thanks for the comment
I hope so for your team, good luck.
Tracy: Thank you so much Arash
