This is for all S/Cers who wanted me to pass on their regards to the Pope.!!(you know who you are)!!!
He gives a public audience every Wednesday morning, but as the weather was not to his liking(wet), he stayed inside and only a few hundred managed to get inside to hear his service. I watched on one of the many screens outside. The rain held off while we stood listening to him.

So how did you convey my greetings? Stuck a post-it to the screen? And when will he get to read it?
So the pope is supposed to speak, but the guy in the black and red dress is doing all the talking Nice picture - didn't know about these screens.
Tracy: When I finally got to the Vatican post office I posted a letter with everyones greetings
There we six of these screens dotted around the square. thanks.
I'm guessing these are make-shift screens put up for the occasion, Tracy, because I have never seen them before. It took me a second to figure it out. It's such a clear capture, Musketeer. I can just see you, head and shoulders above the crowd, taking this picture.
Tracy: LOL Ginnie, we could not understand why everyone was running and pushing to get through the security at the Vatican, and then it became clear what was going to happen.
There are about six of these large screens dotted around the square, so I think they must be a perminent thing now. I managed to get a few shots before the crowds gathered around our screen.
LOL at Louis comment. Nice capture Tracy.
Tracy: Thanks so much Scarlet. Nice to see you back
Now thats a big screen.
Tracy: It's to big for my lounge Aussie LOL
Excellent capture, Tracy. Amazing bit of `product placement` by Panasonic! (:o)
Tracy: Yes a great advert as there were six of these beast's in the square
Nice capture Tracy. Quite a few people shooting there!
Tracy: Six screens in total in the square so lots of photo being taken
Brilliant shot, a photo within a photo, great
Tracy: Thanks for your kind words Sam
LOL at Louis! A great shot Tracy
Tracy: Thanks Michelle appreciate your kind comment.
Oh well! I guess that will have to do. [grin]
Tracy: Beggars carn't be chooser's Ray. I did my best
Took me a while to figure this one out Tracy - nice capture.
Tracy: Thanks Bernie.
Interesting bit of photo journalism Tracy, and something that happens in life that most people don't know about, and well presented also.
Tracy: Thank you so much Brian. We were totally unaware what all the fuss was about,or we would have made the effort to have gotten inside to see the service.
Thanks for your comment
This is quite unintentionally bizarre Tracy: I hope the pope doesn't know me!
Tracy: LOL Chris
Thanks for your valued comment
This is so bizarre - it looks like a giant piece of artwork! Shame that he let a little drop of rain put him off - after all the people who came to hear him weren't put off!
Ingrid
Tracy: Umbrella's were on sale he could have brought one from the looky looky man!!
Thanks Ingrid
well you didn't have to go to Rome to see the pope he sits outside Parkhead most match days
Tracy: LOL Tim, couldn't understand a word he was saying!! You would think a TV as big as that would have subtitles
This is a great capture, Musketeer, love the dress, I told you, I would, the 3 handsomes in the red and black think they know it all.
I think this was some experience, the technology is endless, but I thought the Pope is not afraid of the rain???.
Tracy: No subtitles though Astrid
I was not afraid of the rain mijn vriend and I wore jeans not a dress like him Thank you Musketeer. Hope you are well.
Weird. It's all a bit beyond me
Tracy: Me too Bill. Thanks for your comment
Reminds me of when ours went on a school visit to Italy, they too saw the Pope - the last one on the day before he died. Although we aren't Catholic, they were so pleased to have had the opportunity to see him, even from a great distance. It's something they will always remember
Tracy: We are not catholic either Ellie but as you say it's the fact we have been there and had the opportunity to see him. It's something you will never forget.
Thanks for your comment
another nice shot, you just have to notice it and click, that is what you do and that is good!
Hope the old bugger didn't pontifficate(groans!)too much...
