Someone must have been doing penance to create this one! *wink*
Tracy: HA HA nice to see you still have a sense of humour
Have a good weekend.
Amazing artwork.
Tracy: Your so kind, thanks Sherri
Someone's hardwork paid off. Even your great grandchildren will enjoy their craftsmanship.
Tracy: Wow you have me with great grandchildren already!! LOL
You really must go if you get the chance Maria
That's why mosaics always astound me, Tracy! The patience it takes to design it AND make it! I love your crop.
Tracy: Ginnie you and I are of the same mind, but we knew that anyway. It was a sight I will never forget.
I hope you and Donica have a fantastic trip and come back safe and sound.
Great angle here and a fine crop, well I am sure if we would work side by side, there wouldn't be such a perfect job be done...to much talk and laughter and no concentration....
I always have great admiration for those craftsmen who could do it.
Tracy: Yes Astrid as we know we do love each others company, and laughter is the main agenda, but we do find time for pictures too.
Thanks you for your sweet comment mijn vreind
Good detail here, Tracy. Detail such as this face is rarely seen.
Tracy: Thanks Chad for your valued comment
You've chosen a perfect object and position, I hope that there are more photo's of this dome.
Tracy: Jeroen if you look back through my arcieves you will see more of the dome
Thank you for your kind comment
Another superb artwork. I like how you framed it!
Tracy: Thank you so much Richard
I love mosaics. Australia had their war memorial building completely covered inside with a mosaic. I've never seen anything like it.You're pleasing me with all the crafts you are showing.
Tracy: So pleased you like the shot's Mary. I think the craftsmanship in Rome is amazing
Thank you
Nice detail Tracy.
Tracy: Cheers Mike
Nicely done once again, I love Roma !!

Looking through you photos since you came back from your travels, the whole series is lovely, not to say breath-taking for some of them. And well done for getting to the top of the dome. Fantastic!
Tracy: Sheila you are so kind and thanks for checking out my archieve's.
So pleased you like the shot's. Carn't wait to see yours
Now you are getting it! First get close then get closer still....then take the picture!
I have had a few glasses of wine! I am nervous about tomorrow!
Tracy: LOL thanks Bill
I see you have resorted to the bottle then
That must be a lot of work
Tracy: Thanks Robbie
Great photo Tracy.they had time no tv, computer games, lol
Tracy: LOL thanks Vintage
A lifetime of gluing I would imagine
Tracy: LOL Chris thanks
I like the way you chose to photograph this, Tracy. I like those bands of colour and the acute angle. The mosaic itself is, of course, amazing. (:o)
Tracy: Thanks Roz, it could have been the fact that I did not want to leave the protection of the wall,so took the shot from this angle.
This is a brilliant pic by Tracy.
Regarding the mosaics, gawd probably whipped 'em up on the wall during his 7th day of leisure...bit like the family doing the jig-saws together on the day when it won't stop raining while you are having a beach-side holiday.
Tracy: LOL you might be right Ray
Thanks a million |
