Wrong brand of beer? It looks like a reasonably welcoming pub from here, but I am not picky at the end of the day
Tracy: I used this pub years ago but the landlord is not a well liked man!!
The pub is ok and they sell good beer. Thanks Martin
HAHAHA. You don't fool me, Tracy. Which one DO you use and how far away is it?
Seriously, we know you get it from somewhere, but that's YOUR secret. Keep it. But when Astrid and I come see you, maybe we can go to this one just to say we did it.
Tracy: Five minutes away by car 20mins walking!!!
It was my local but the landlord is not a well liked man I have been a good girl since visiting you I hope you found comfort in the words I sent you yesterday mijn vriend. Yes WE MUSKETEERS will visit this pub..
I wouldn't use it either! But I do like this photo in B&W.
Tracy: Thank you so much Helen. It was ok some years ago
Looks fun to me! Dives are always best! Perhaps you use the one that is a 1 minute walk away instead?
Tracy: LOL Jewlya, 20 minutes walk.. This pub is not bad inside to be honest. Thanks
Now why don't you use it Tracy: too many old memories within?
Tracy: No Chris just the opposite! The landlord is not well liked.
Thanks for your comment
I will check this out with Ginnie....
Tracy: Ha HA Ha ROFL.... I will go with my fellow Musketeers..
The last time I went in was with James on Christmas day. We had two drinks and then across to mum's for lunch. Cheers.
Verry well captured Tracy. Great lighting!
Tracy: Thank you so much Richard
Great viewpoint of the boozer. Is this where you woke up the next morning?
Suggestion: to combat the haze you can use contrasting.
Tracy: Thanks for the advice Louis
I have staggered home from here on more than one occasion!!!
Don't worry, Tracy, I don't go to my local either.
Tracy: Thanks for the support Chad, it's nice to know I am not on my own
My question is why?
Tracy: The owner is not very well liked so not many villagers use it,if any. I was in there Christmas day with my son for an hour.
Thanks Mary
Very nice composition. The B&W works well. I tell you this, if I was a 2 minute walk from a pub right now I'd be out the door and there in a minute and a half!
Tracy: Sorry to put temptation on your screen Martie!!!
Thanks
Good B&W
Tracy: Thanks Chantal.
Why not, Tracy?
Tracy: The owner is not well liked and when he brought the pub several years ago the great village meeting place changed and the atmosphere was tense. So we don't use it very often anymore which is a great shame as I have a lot of happy memories.
I've always been very picky about my pubs so I can understand this. Like the use of B&W here Tracy.
Tracy: Cheers Scarlet
Life time ban???? Now in Australia you would be hard pressed to get one of those.
Tracy: No as if
This is one local pub I've never been to Tracy!
Tracy: Will meet you there if you want Bernie??
Why don't you use it? Too many rowdy customers? I bet there are some good stories...
Tracy: LOL yes so many stories
Wise Lady, Tracy!
It's better to not frequent the local, when one's step gets a little unsteady and one's words a little slurred...slip up to the next village, where folks don't know you. [grin]
Tracy: I think you know me to well Ray.
LOL! at all the comments, Tracy! I love them all. I understand, I probably wouldn't go there either. At least not at my age. Perhaps if I was a bit younger...
Great capture!
Tracy: LOL Kay you are a star
My guess is that people are so great to hang out with?
I think I'd venture with a few people... And I'm so jealous of Ginnie's plans... Now if I only lived closer...
Tracy: You would be welcome if you were in the area Jen!!
woooww great image
Tracy: Cheers I appreciate your comment
Barred were you?
Tracy: Not me Bill I am a good girl
If you became the barmaid ... I'm sure the pub would be turned round and then Bernie would visit it. richard
Tracy: LOL Richard, thank you so much
looks nice in bw...
Tracy: Cheers Sam
So many elements go to making a good pub and I too would walk 20mins if the nearest wasn't up to scratch ;o)
Tracy: Glad you approve Mike:0)
Nice picture, Tracy. And you are not alone. Our local is at the top of the street and we've never been in there. There's another a few streets away, and we've never been in there either.
Tracy: LOL thank you so much Sheila for supporting me
is that because their is one only a minutes walk away
Tracy: If you were with me Tim I know we would walk more than a minute away, and I will be temted anytime
