What a guy: he's teaching his horse to dance!
Is this a reproduction or just really well preserved? I like the weird expression on his face most of all
Great photo! The detail is wonderful.
Very nice. So realistic ... right down to the creases in the horses neck. Great details.
He has a great view over the crowd...love the details in the statue, he is kind of saying: "look mom, I can do the horsriding without using my hands....."
Great picture.
LOL at Astrid! I thought the same thing: "Look, Ma. No hands!"
Now I'm trying to remember if I ever saw this fella? Hmmm. If I did, he never made an impression, I guess. Good job at finding and capturing him, Tracy!
Marcus Aurelius? The inscription on the pedestal says it is Tracy Weston who lived 2008 bC. It must be bC if I look at the fashion.
Great picture and detail.
Naughty of you Tracy to scratch your name on the marble. Good photograph of the statue though.
Excellent image Tracy
Beautiful capture Tracy. I like the details and the tones!
Nice one Tracy ..
Great detail, and endorsed by the EU flag in the background too
What a great statue..and a story to go with it.
You've definitely got me itching to travel!!!!
Nice piece of art you show us here!
I think this young Marcus is quite aware of his place in Society. Never thought of you as a graffiti vandal Tracy...

I didn't know you did grafitti, Tracy! The horse looks very lifelike but the man looks wooden - perhaps its the funny hairdo.

Good old Marcus Aurelius. there's lots of quote website on him. seems he had a lot to say
This is a good one "Let not your mind run on what you lack as much as on what you have already". Sound advice!
Pity about that darned flag on top of the building, A wonderful statue isn't it. Any idea who sculpted/cast it?
